After class, a student asked his teacher, "What is love?"
"Go to the corn field next to the school, pick the biggest corn you found in the whole plot of land and bring it back to me," the teacher replied.
The boy nodded his head.
"But there is one condition, you cannot turn back and pick the corn which you left behind," reminded the teacher.
The boy nodded again before leaving for the field.
So, the boy walked into the field and picked up one of the corn.
This is big, he thought,
but there should be a bigger one infront, he thought again as he left the corn down.
And he walked on, he saw another bigger one, but he dropped it, carrying the same thought on his mind that a bigger one will appeared across the field.
In the end he returned to class
emptyhanded. "Sir, i found a few, but..but i thought there will be a bigger one infront so i left it.."
The teacher smiled, "This is love.
Love is when you keep looking for a better one. But when you later realised it, you have miss the person."
i found this while shopping with Lingwei the other night.
Love is...in love,
one must always cherish those that one already possess.
